How Quality Inspection Results and Reports Work

Learn how to review inspection results, access Quality Inspection Reports, and use inspection information after an inspection is completed.

Where to find completed inspections

Completed inspections are available in the Reports section under Quality inspection reports. This gives you a central digital archive of completed quality inspections.

Use the Quality inspection reports section when you need to look back at completed inspections and review the information recorded during the inspection.

What the inspection record brings together

A completed Quality Inspection brings together the information recorded during the inspection, including the assessment of the site against your defined criteria and the information recorded while working through the inspection.

  • Quality Inspection scores recorded for the site.

  • Notes added to explain individual criteria scores.

  • Display-related information recorded during the inspection, including Display notes and updated photos when applicable.

  • Follow-up actions recorded through Issues, Assignments, and Replacements.

How to use inspection results

Quality Inspection results give you more than a single overall score. The individual criteria, notes, Display information, photos, and follow-up actions help you understand what was happening at the site when the inspection was performed.

The results can help you identify where service quality is strong and where attention may be needed. Over time, keeping inspections in OBG gives you a clearer picture of service consistency across the sites you inspect.

Using results for follow-up

If an inspection identifies something that needs action, the inspection workflow lets the assignee record follow-up through Issues, Assignments, or Replacements. This keeps the inspection findings and the resulting operational work connected rather than leaving follow-up in separate notes or spreadsheets.

Photos and notes can also provide useful context when someone needs to understand what was observed during the inspection.

Building a history of service quality

Because completed inspections remain available in Quality inspection reports, you can build a digital history of your quality inspections instead of relying on paper checklists or separate spreadsheets.

This makes it easier to look back at inspection work and understand how consistently your teams are delivering service. Combined with the information recorded during each inspection, the history can help highlight sites that are performing well and areas where additional attention may be useful.

Practical tips

  • Use the Quality inspection reports section as your central archive instead of keeping separate inspection spreadsheets or paper checklists.

  • Review the individual criteria and notes, not just the overall score, when you need to understand why a site received its result.

  • Pay attention to Issues, Assignments, Replacements, and photos recorded during the inspection so that follow-up is not separated from the inspection findings.
