Open or close the left menu
Use the menu icon in the top-left corner of the Back Office to open or close the left navigation menu. Closing it gives the main workspace more room, which can be helpful when working with wide tables.
Switch to dark mode
Select the dark-mode icon in the top bar to switch the interface to night mode.
Use the same control to switch back when you prefer the standard appearance.
Resize table columns
In most large tables, you can adjust column widths to make important information easier to read. Drag a column boundary to make the column wider or narrower. For example, widen a column when its contents are truncated, or reduce the width of a column that does not need much space.
Some tables contain many columns, so resizing them can help you keep the information you use most often visible without giving every column the same amount of space.
Show or hide table columns
Use the column settings icon near the top-right corner of a table to choose which columns are displayed. In the menu, select the checkboxes next to the columns you want to show, or clear the checkboxes for columns you want to hide.
Hiding columns you do not need creates more room for the information you want to see. For example, if you are reviewing assignments and do not need to see every available field at once, hide less relevant columns and keep the key details visible.
The column menu also includes an option to reset column widths if you want to return to the default widths.
Practical tips
Close the left menu when you need more horizontal space for a wide table.
Widen columns when important values are cut off, and narrow columns that contain short values.
Hide columns you rarely use to make the table easier to scan.
Use the reset column widths option if your column sizing becomes difficult to work with.
