Understanding the Service Site Card

Learn how to navigate the Service Site card in One Big Green and use its tabs to manage site information, review work, and monitor budgets.

What is the Service Site card?

The Service Site card is the central place in the Back Office for managing a physical location where your company provides services. It brings together the site’s details, the Services set up at that location, and information about work completed, work planned, and items that need attention.

To open the card, go to Service sites and select the Service Site you want to review. One Big Green shows active Service Sites by default. If you cannot find a location, check the Status filter or clear it to include inactive sites.

Service Site Info

The Service Site Info tab contains the site’s setup and location-specific information.

The Service Site name and address are the essential details needed to create a site. When entering an address, start typing and select the correct option from the dropdown. One Big Green geocodes the address, which supports navigation and geofencing-based check-in and check-out validation.

Other information can include a reference code, division, customer industry, general notes, photos, and files such as floor plans or planting schemes. You can also maintain site-specific instructions, such as access arrangements, parking, delivery details, and water-source information.

The tab also contains the Services configured for the location, their service-related settings, the physical structure of the site, and contact details. You can add up to three contacts and specify their roles, such as on-site, billing, or emergency contact.

Service Site details and instructions synchronize in real time with the mobile app. Changes made in the Back Office become available to mobile users, and updates made by mobile users synchronize back to the Back Office.

Visits

The Visits tab provides an overview of completed and upcoming service visits, deliveries, and unplanned activities associated with the Service Site. It also provides shortcuts to related reports.

Use the plus icon in this tab to schedule a new visit or delivery for the site.

Assignments

The Assignments tab shows open and completed assignments associated with the Service Site. Assignments remain linked to the location, making it easier to review their status and history.

Issues

The Issues tab lists open and resolved issues associated with the Service Site. You can review existing issues or create a new one for the location using the plus icon.

Replacements

The Replacements tab provides an overview of open and closed replacement requests associated with the Service Site. Use it to review replacement activity for the location or create a new replacement item with the plus icon.

All Site Notes

The All Site Notes tab brings together notes left by field team members during service visits or deliveries to the Service Site. If a technician attached photos to a note, those photos are available with the note. This gives office staff a place to review observations from the field without checking each visit individually.

Communications

The Communications tab gives you an overview of external communications with the end client that were generated within the One Big Green environment. You can also customize communication settings for each client individually.

Budgets

The Budgets tab helps you review how the Services at a Service Site are performing against their configured budgets.

Billing

The Billing tab lets you keep the billing details for this site.

Practical tips

  • Keep the Service Site name and address accurate so field teams can find the location and geofencing can work as intended.

  • Put access, parking, delivery, and water-source instructions in the site-specific instructions section so technicians can find them in the mobile app.

  • Use the operational tabs to review work and outstanding items linked to the location.

  • Check the Status filter if a Service Site appears to be missing from the Service sites list.

  • Review the Budgets tab regularly to identify time or replacement spending that may need follow-up.
